Pricing Rules

Pricing Rules 
The pricing rules govern the overall pricing of the system, providing an overview of how prices can be set for a solution, a vehicle, or a zone.

• Upon clicking the Pricing Rule, we will see the Pricing List in the specified format.

•  On clicking the Pricing Rule, we get to see the pagination on the right end below the screen, which can be adjusted according to the pricing rules created.

How to Create a Pricing Rule 

1. Click on the Pricing Rule 

2. Click on Add Pricing Rule 

3. We will get to see different types of pricing rules

Basic Pricing (Applicable for Private Transfer, Ride Hailing & Pickup Delivery)

• Enter the Base fare, Time Allowed in Base Fare, Price per time unit, and other details

• Under Distance pricing, we need to add the distance unit, the distance allowed in the base fare, and other parameters as required

• Under the weight pricing, as required, enter the required details. (Applicable only for pickup delivery solutions).

• Select the Applicable Taxes.

• Under More Criteria, select the “From Zone”,” To Zone”, and ”Vehicle Type” as required.

• Under Advanced options, put the required parameters.

• Click Save > The New Pricing rule will be created.

4. On selecting  Slab Based Pricing(applicable for private transfer, pickup, delivery, and ride-hailing)

• We need to add slabs for distance, time, and their required parameters one by one.

• We can select the weight of the slab for the pickup delivery solution

• Select the Applicable Taxes.

• Under More Criteria, select the “From Zone”,” To Zone”, and” Vehicle Type” as required.

• Under Advanced options, put the required parameters.

• Click Save, and the pricing rule for slab-based will be created.

5. On selecting Fixed Route Pricing(applicable only for Shared Transfer) Solution.

• We need to put the name of the price 

• We need to choose a previously created fixed route 

• Select the Applicable Taxes.

• Under More Criteria, select the “From Zone”, ”To Zone”, and” Vehicle Type” as required.

• Under Advanced options, put the required parameters.

• Click Save, and the pricing rule for Fixed Route Pricing will be created.

Edit and Delete Functionality-

•  The Edit and Delete Functionality is used to perform deletion and editing functionality in the created pricing rule.
  
  

•  On editing, the values related to any pricing can be edited and modified, and can be saved.

•  On clicking the “delete” option in the pricing rule created, the pricing rule will be deleted.

GLOBAL RULE- 

Global Pricing Rule can be added by the tenant after signing up in the dispatch system.

Note: Without creating a global rule, the tenant cannot create any other pricing rule.

Steps to add a global pricing rule

1. Open the dispatch system

2. Go to Pricing Management.

3. Click on Add Pricing Rule

4. We will get to see different types of pricing rules

• Select the Applicable Taxes.

• Click save > Global Pricing Rule will be created.

6. Under the price listing, we will get to see the pricing rule with status as “Active”, and beside it, “global rule” is reflected.

• On clicking the pricing rule, it redirects to the created pricing rule with all the pricing details.
